2024 / 1934: One Manufacturer winning at Le Mans and Monaco

24 Hours of Le Mans 2024: For the first time in 90 years, the same manufacturer won both, this prestigious race and the Monaco Grand Prix. Miguel Molina, Antonio Fuoco, and Nicklas Nielsen, driving the AF Corse works Ferrari F499P, achieved victory at Le Mans. Prior to this, Charles Leclerc had triumphed at Monaco with the Ferrari SF-24.

Looking back to 1934, French driver Guy Moll won the Monaco Grand Prix with an Alfa Romeo Tipo B/P3 (deployed by Scuderia Ferrari, at that time the official Alfa Romeo works team), while Luigi Chinetti (later founder of the North American Racing Team) won the 24 Hours of Le Mans driving an Alfa Romeo 8C-2300, together with Philippe Etancelin.

Why is this relevant: Monaco and Le Mans are two races of the Triple Crown of Motorsports, only missing the 500 Miles of Indianapolis. Both, Alfa Romeo and Ferrari already participated at Indy, but so far, not won the race.
